Ryan at Two Months Old

Ryan is growing and changing every single second, but here is an update on his activities at two months:
* Dare I say it, he is officially sleeping through the night. He crashes about 10pm-11pm-ish and sleeps until 6am-7am-ish. It just started this week and it's been wonderful!
* He's a champ at eating now (nursing was a challenge for the first month or so.) Although, he hates when I eat dairy or anything spicy (goodbye pad thai and kung pao beef...)
* He loves to be naked (yes, that concerns us for the future!) He is all smiles on the changing table when you start undressing him.
* He loves bathtime (see previous comment on being naked.)
* He hates getting lotion put on after baths. He thinks it's for sissies, or maybe he just hates to be cold after getting out of the warm, toasty bath water.
* He hates tummy time and will only tolerate it for five minutes or less.
* He can roll over on to his back from his tummy (anything to get out of tummy-time!) He doesn't do it often, but has started that in the last week or so.
* He's a champion spitter-upper. Giving him a pacifier right after we burp him seems to help keep the chow down.
* He's really hard to burp. Any position, any intensity, any duration...doesn't matter and he'll only burp occasionally. At night this is especially worrisome because he'll spit up in his sleep after you lay him down and go back to bed and I'm really worried he'll choke.
* He's good at napping. About half the time, he'll go down for a nap in complete silence (though he's awake), and the other half he'll squawk for a little while and then go to sleep. It's the rare occasion now that he really fusses or even screams when we put him down to sleep.
* He has his first official cold complete with stuffy nose and cough, though we've avoided a fever so far. :(
* He loves to be talked to and he'll talk back. Right now "goo" is his favorite word.
* He likes to be sung to.
* He loves music. We were at my parents house and he was supposed to be sleeping, but was settling for being fussy instead. Uncle Shawn got his guitar and started playing music and singing and he calmed right down. At one point, Shawn stopped playing and Ryan cracked open one eyelid as if to say "Hey, I'm not sleeping yet, don't stop!" Very cute.
* He likes to be swaddled tightly when he sleeps and he can't sleep unless it's loud in his room. He sleeps with the air purifier fan going full speed AND a white noise machine (thanks again, Uncle Shawn!) We can't go anywhere without that white noise machine if we actually want him to sleep.
* He loves lights, so he adores his Rainforest Activity Mat. He can usually last about ten minutes on that.
* He doesn't love the swing, but he'll tolerate it if it's going full speed. We might have an adrenaline junkie on our hands...
