Ryan is nine weeks old today! His newest development is "raspberries." He loves to get right up in your face and take a deep breath in and give you "raspberries." He's starting to drool and has been chewing on his pacifier lately. I really think it's too early for him to be teething, but who knows? We had a pretty quiet weekend at home because we had to stay in and nurse Ryan back to health. He's still got that nasty cold, but it's getting better. Even though it was super nice last weekend (in the 40s!), we stayed in and gave him lots of love and cuddles. He got extra love with a visit from Grandma Debbie and Papa, and Grandma Margi. What little baby could ask for anything more? Even Dixie got some extra attention with a nice long walk with Uncle Shawn. The O'Connell kids were spoiled last weekend.
Yesterday Ryan and I ventured out to meet Great-Grandma Jo. They met briefly at Christmastime, but Grandma Jo was sick so she couldn't really spend much time around Ryan. Too bad I forgot my camera as it was fun for them to meet and listen to Great Grandma Jo's advice and stories. For those of you who know my Grandma Jo, you know there is never a shortage of advice or stories... :) She said Ryan's name was "different, but nice." That's a glowing review from her!
