Happy Golden Birthday

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend, which meant only one thing: the big birthday was just around the corner!  Today is Ryan's golden birthday and he's been celebrating in grand style.  Here are some pictures of his first birthday party with Grandma Margi and Uncle Sean.

Balloons!  Ryan's favorite!

Mmmmm....birthday cake....well, birthday pumpkin cheesecake, actually.

It was a big hit.  The only problem is that now Ryan calls this dessert "Happy Birthday to Ryan"
It was awesome the next morning to wake up to birthday balloons!

It's hard to believe we have a two year old!  He is so much fun and adds so much enjoyment and excitement to our lives.  He can definitely be handful at times, but look at his parents...we kind of expected this. :)  I love to see the world through his eyes because everything is so cool and so new.  He loves to point things out everywhere we go and boy, can this kid talk!  He's starting to be a little shy and bashful, which a change from how outgoing he's always been.  He's getting pickier about eating, but continues to love milk and fruit.  We went to the doctor this morning and everything checked out.  He's 35" tall and that's the 70th percentile, 27.2 lbs which is the 35%, so still tall and skinny.
Happy Birthday, Ryan!
