Success! I know it's not a great picture, but what it represents is a major triumph in our marriage. As I mentioned in the Christmas tree post from last year, putting up the Christmas tree is usually a combative event in our home. This year was the smoothest the purchase and set-up has ever been (no mediator necessary!) Nick came home early (5:30!!!) from work (because their computer system was down...) and we went over to see Big John. The place was packed and it was freezing out, but we came home with a winner!
