At Four Months, Maddie is:
* 24.5 inches tall (50%), 14lb 10oz (75%), and her head is 15.5 cm (10%)
* A pretty good sleeper. She goes to bed at 7:30pm and about half the time she eats next around 6am and the other half it's about 3am.
* She's a decent napper during the day. She half wakes up and fusses, but I'm on to her game, so if I leave her be, then she goes right back to sleep.
*She's had a couple laughing episodes, but not often. She's not very ticklish like her brother was, and she seems more annoyed than joyful if you try and tickle her.
* She's not a big spitter-upper (as seen by the size of her cheeks), which is the total opposite of Ryan.
* She has been un-swaddled for at least a month now. She never really loved being swaddled the way Ryan did, but she sleeps much better if she is in a sleep sack and not constricted.
* She LOVES to stand. She tolerates tummy time. Within the last week or so, she has done pretty well during tummy time and is more interested in investigating the area around her than fighting it.
* She LOVES her big brother. She follows him with her eyes all over the room and smiles when he gets close. He loves her too. I wonder if that will change when she gets big enough to take his toys?
* She likes her swing and the activity mat. She's not a big fan of the papasan and arches her back until she's wiggled out of it within seconds. To keep her put, you have to use the straps and she doesn't dig that.
* She's a thumb sucker and it's adorable. Sometimes she sucks on her thumb so hard in her sleep, you can hear it from outside of her room. She'll tolerate a pacifier, but I don't really push it.
