During Dixie's puppyhood and early years, we kept these gates up all the time to keep her corralled during the day while we were at work. I finally got used to having my house open again...and now it's time for baby-proofing. Instead of constantly steering Ryan out of trouble, we thought it made more sense to put up the gates so he can run free without hearing "no" all the time. He didn't totally love the idea of losing some roaming space (see last pic.) I took some great video of him last night checking out the gates, but as I was uploading I realized I didn't hit "record"...nice move. So, I will try and take some video soon because it's pretty funny.
