Baby Shower Fun

Saturday the Suedbecks were gracious enough to open their home to a couples baby shower for Laura and Jeff. The Piersons are expecting baby #1 on June 10th. They don't know the gender, so there has been much speculation. My guess is it's a girl, and I was right on my last guess (the Schmitz's baby girl, Elizabeth Maria, joined the group on April 28th). We'll see!

Here Laura and Jeff got practice with an "instant family." They tested out 5 minutes of parenting with trying to get three kids to look at the camera and take a picture--good luck!! From left to right: Jack Suedbeck, Laura, Ryan, Jeff, and Anthony Suedbeck. The Suedbeck boys were SO cute with "Baby Wyan" (that's what it sounded like when they said his name!) Anthony was totally smitten. They are only a year apart, which will seem like nothing in the coming years, but at this point in their lives, Anthony seems a lifetime older.

We got the Piersons all sorts of "must haves" for their gift. Here are diapers and butt paste...you guys will spend a fortune on these in the coming months!!!

Here the Rendulich family gets some practice with parenting...yep, they are expecting a baby!!! We're welcoming the "last of the firsts" with Baby Rendulich, anticipated around November 19th. It's hard to believe Anne Marie's will be our last baby shower. We've all been friends since high school and it's really fun to be able to share all the "big" moments in life with each other. It felt like just yesterday we were carpooling to CDH football games, celebrating 21st birthdays, and partying it up at bachelorette parties and now we all have, or are expecting, babies! I'm so lucky to have such wonderful friends!
