9 Months Old!

 

 

This month Madeline is 17lb and 15oz (25%), 27.5 inches tall (50%), and her head is 16.5 inches (5%.)

* This little lady is fully mobile!  She's crawling everywhere now.  Poor Dixie is never safe!  She's started stealing Ryan's toys, but overall he's been really good about sharing with her.  If he doesn't share willingly, it's because he's afraid the toy isn't safe for her or that it shouldn't go in her mouth (as all toys do.)  It's very cute!
* She's still a great eater and loves to feed herself.
* She likes the exersaucer, but is happiest with total freedom to roam around the room and discover toys on her own.
* She has six teeth and pretty much always has some toy or body part (usually her own) crammed into her mouth.
* Still a thumb sucker.
* Still a great sleeper, thank goodness!  Her naps aren't as long as they used to be and she's been more interested in learning how to sit up, crawl, and climb in her crib than sleeping.
* She still thinks her brother is the COOLEST person on earth (and knock on wood, that feeling is still mutual.)  I think Mom and Dad come in a close second.

We're so happy to have this little ray of sunshine in our lives.  Happy 9 months, Madeline!
