Dixie's first duck

Poor Dixie has not been allowed to live up to her full (golden) retrieving potential because I've coddled her into the inside dog that she's become.  Nick took her out hunting last weekend and she did a great job!  Here she is posing with her first duck.  I think she still prefers cushy beds and dry warmth to a cold, wet October morning, but she made her breed (and dad) proud!
