Labor Day

We had a great labor day weekend at the lake, or as the boys refer to it "Early Goose Opener weekend!" TJ, AnneMarie, Baby Lila (how Ryan referred to her all weekend), and Lulu joined us so the boys could celebrating the opening of hunting season. There were a few minor slightly aggressive, slightly jealous moments, but overall, Ryan LOVED Lila and always wanted to know what she was doing. He doesn't fully grasp "gentle touches," so some hugs ended up with both kids flat on the floor looking at each other like "how did we get here???" I think we gave TJ and AnneMarie a good idea of how much fun it is once your child becomes mobile (did I say fun? hmmmm...maybe not the exact word I am thinking of...)

The babies get together for a nice hug (Lila had some help, but she is doing a great job hugging all by herself!)

Ryan loved giving Lila kisses (that sentence will terrify us in about 10 years), and decided even her tootsies needed kissing! It didn't matter that she was in the middle of a meal...

Ryan couldn't go to bed without saying goodnight to Lila.

Even Lulu was cashed by the end of the weekend! If you've never met Lu before, it's SHOCKING that there is a ball in front of her face and she's not trying to get anyone to throw it...she's SERIOUSLY tired!

Lots of love and prayers are going out to our baby Lila who is in surgery right at this very minute. Love you, baby girl!!!
